Expected salary range:

Mid-level $123,000 - $137,000

Senior-level $135,000 - $151,000

These ranges are annual and are contingent upon experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and 401K contributions.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Work Week Manager is accountable for overseeing the formulation of detailed plans and schedules for all corrective and preventative maintenance, surveillance, post-maintenance testing, and modifications within a designated work week. This role leverages prior leadership experience from operations supervisory or managerial roles to execute responsibilities efficiently and effectively. During the execution week, the manager ensures adherence to the On-line Risk profile, Technical Specifications, and Plant Procedures. The role involves directing the implementation of the work week schedule in a safe, effective, and efficient manner, collaborating across all organizational boundaries with various departments and designated Project Managers to resolve conflicts that may impact schedule safety and performance. The manager is also responsible for ensuring that fleet and station objectives are achieved during their respective execution week and plays a crucial role in coaching and mentoring other members of the Work Management and Station teams. It is important to note that this position does not guarantee automatic progression for Work Week Managers, as sites will fill Senior Work Week Manager roles based on business requirements and necessitate prior FLS experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and coordinate the detailed schedule development for the assigned work week, ensuring compliance with Technical Specifications and Maintenance Rules while minimizing safety risks.
  • Direct the execution of the assigned work week schedule with minimal oversight, ensuring adherence to Technical Specifications and Maintenance Rules.
  • Provide guidance to department planners, schedulers, Project Managers, and support personnel for the development of an effective and accurate schedule execution.
  • Manage schedule execution to meet Work Management Process Key Indicators.
  • Prioritize emergent work for the assigned work week.
  • Analyze scheduling execution performance data and prepare weekly performance reports to aid in corrective action development during weekly meetings.
  • Assist in coordinating forced outages as necessary.
  • Mentor and develop other members of the work management organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma with a minimum of 8 years of general power plant experience, including strong knowledge of plant systems and at least 3 years of supervisory and leadership experience. Excellent interdepartmental communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities in previous roles such as Operations Shift Manager, Operations Shift Supervisor, or Maintenance FLS/Engineering supervisory positions. Extensive knowledge of plant operations and systems is required.
  • High School Diploma with 6 years of general power plant experience in maintenance, operations, engineering, or work management, including 3 years of exempt/professional level experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in personal computer (PC) scheduling tools.
  • Current or former SRO License/Certification.
  • Engineering or technical degree.
