Expected salary range:
Mid-level: $123,000 - $137,000
Senior-level: $135,000 - $151,000
These ranges are annual and contingent upon experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and 401(k) contributions.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The individual in this role will be accountable for orchestrating the development of comprehensive plans and schedules for all corrective and preventative maintenance, surveillance, post-maintenance testing, and modifications within a designated work week. Leveraging prior leadership experience from operations supervisory roles or managerial positions in other departments, the incumbent will efficiently and effectively fulfill their responsibilities. During the execution week, adherence to the On-line Risk profile, Technical Specifications, and Plant Procedures is paramount. The role involves directing the implementation of the work week schedule in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. Collaboration across all organizational boundaries is essential, working with various departments and designated Project Managers to resolve conflicts that may impact schedule safety and performance. The individual will ensure that fleet and station objectives are achieved during their respective execution week while also coaching and mentoring other members of the Work Management and Station teams. It is important to note that this position does not guarantee automatic progression to Work Week Manager roles, as the number of Senior Work Week Manager positions is determined by business needs and requires prior FLS experience.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Oversee and coordinate the detailed schedule development for the assigned work week, ensuring compliance with Technical Specifications and Maintenance Rules while minimizing safety challenges.
- Execute the assigned work week schedule with minimal oversight, ensuring adherence to Technical Specifications and Maintenance Rules.
- Provide guidance to all department planners, schedulers, Project Managers, and support personnel in developing an effective and accurate schedule execution.
- Direct schedule execution to meet the Work Management Process Key Indicators.
- Manage priority emergent work for the assigned work week.
- Analyze scheduling execution performance data and generate a weekly performance analysis report to assist in corrective action development during the weekly P.A.R meeting.
- Assist in coordinating forced outages as necessary.
- Coach, mentor, and develop other members of the work management organization.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 8 years of general power plant experience, including solid knowledge of plant systems and at least 3 years of supervisory and leadership experience. Strong interdepartmental communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in a previous role of responsibility, such as Operations Shift Manager, Operations Shift Supervisor, or Maintenance FLS/Engineering work management supervisory position. Extensive knowledge of plant operations and systems is required.
- High School Diploma with 6 years of general power plant experience in maintenance, operations, engineering, or work management, including good plant system knowledge and at least 3 years of exempt/professional level experience.
- Strong interdepartmental communication skills (both verbal and written) are necessary.
- Solid leadership skills are a must.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient personal computer (PC) scheduling knowledge.
- Current or former SRO License/Certification.
- Engineering or technical degree is preferred.
