Constellation Energy is seeking a skilled Nuclear Operations Training Program Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs for nuclear operations personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement training programs for nuclear operations personnel, including classroom, laboratory, and simulator-based training.
- Coordinate and conduct performance-based operations training programs, ensuring compliance with Exelon's TSD model and department procedures.
- Maintain current training programs, incorporating information from INPO Significant Operating Experience Reports, Exelon NERs, NRC Circulars, and other relevant sources.
- Prepare trainee examinations and conduct evaluations, recommending individualized training programs as needed.
- Support business initiatives, project management, refuel outage support, and special projects, as required.
- Participate in NRC, INPO, and management audits, preparing responses to audit findings.
- Maintain knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills, and techniques, ensuring effective and high-quality training.
- Supervise the collection and maintenance of auditable training records and reports.
- Mid-level Ops Instructor: Associate's degree in science/engineering or education/training, with 4+ years of related industry experience/technical background, or 6+ years of related industry experience/technical background.
- Senior Ops Instructor: Previous or current senior reactor operator license, or an SRO Certification with 4+ years of related industry experience and 6 months of proven teaching in LORT or ILT.
- Mid-level Ops Instructor: Bachelor's degree in science/engineering or education/training, with 6 years of commercial nuclear power plant training experience.
- Senior Ops Instructor: Bachelor's degree in science/engineering or education/training, with previous or current senior reactor operator license, or an SRO Certification with 6+ years of related industry experience and 6 months of proven teaching in LORT or ILT.
