Expected salary range:
Mid-level: $123,000 - $137,000
Senior-level: $135,000 - $151,000
Salary ranges are annual and based on experience, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and 401(k) contributions.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Senior Work Week Manager is tasked with overseeing the formulation of detailed plans and schedules for all corrective and preventative maintenance, surveillance, post-maintenance testing, and modifications within a designated work week. This role leverages leadership experience from prior supervisory or managerial positions in operations to execute responsibilities efficiently. During the execution week, adherence to the On-line Risk profile, Technical Specifications, and Plant Procedures is paramount. The role also involves directing the implementation of the work week schedule in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. Collaboration across all organizational boundaries with various departments and designated Project Managers is essential to resolve conflicts that may impact schedule safety and performance. The Senior Work Week Manager is accountable for ensuring that fleet and station objectives are achieved during their respective execution week and plays a crucial role in coaching and mentoring other members of the Work Management and Station teams.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead and coordinate the detailed schedule development for the assigned work week, ensuring compliance with Technical Specifications and Maintenance Rules while minimizing safety challenges.
- Oversee the execution of the assigned work week schedule with minimal oversight, ensuring adherence to Technical Specifications and Maintenance Rules.
- Provide guidance to department planners, schedulers, Project Managers, and support personnel for effective and accurate schedule execution.
- Direct schedule execution to meet Work Management Process Key Indicators.
- Manage priority emergent work for the assigned work week.
- Analyze scheduling execution performance data and prepare weekly performance analysis reports to inform corrective actions.
- Assist in coordinating forced outages as necessary.
- Coach, mentor, and develop members of the work management organization.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 8 years of general power plant experience, including 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in previous positions of responsibility, such as Operations Shift Manager or Maintenance FLS.
- Extensive knowledge of plant operations and systems, with a background in Work Week Management.
- Strong interdepartmental communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Solid leadership skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in personal computer (PC) scheduling tools.
- Current or former SRO License/Certification.
- Engineering or technical degree.
