Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Oceans Healthcare. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients with common, well-defined health problems.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to implement patient care plans.
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Administer medications safely and accurately, following facility policies and physician orders.
  • Conduct bedside laboratory tests, wound care, and provide comfort and assistance with ADLs.
  • Provide supportive communication and culturally sensitive interventions to patients and families.
Requirements
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Valid Compact licenses are also acceptable.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One year of inpatient hospital experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a high-stress environment and assess potential for patient escalation.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to think critically and apply knowledge to improve patient care.
