Job Overview:

Sunrise Systems Inc is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee a pivotal initiative known as the Business Services Portal (BSP). This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management acumen to ensure the successful execution of this statewide project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project in collaboration with various stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Engage with the vendor responsible for the BSP's development, facilitating effective communication and project tracking.
  • Implement and monitor project procedures and protocols to guarantee successful delivery of the project.
  • Communicate project metrics, deadlines, and outcomes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Onsite Work Requirement:
This position mandates onsite presence initially, transitioning to a hybrid model as agreed upon with the client. Regular onsite engagement is expected to maintain project momentum.

Work Hours:
The contractor is expected to commit to a 37.5-hour workweek, with potential flexibility required on occasion.

Candidate Preferences:
Local candidates are preferred due to the onsite requirements of this role.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as management information systems or computer science.

Experience:
Minimum of seven years in systems analysis with a strong understanding of business environments, particularly in software development and lifecycle management.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience managing full project lifecycles.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, reporting tools, and database management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with digital experience platforms and customer relationship management systems.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and security compliance regulations.
  • Experience in managing testing processes, including automated and manual testing.

Additional Requirements:
Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to transportation for potential statewide travel.
