About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Quality Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in leading site QMS procedure development, issue, training, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols to ensure compliance with AS9100 certification requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality standards are in effect and support site audits.
  • Work with designs, specifications, and testing plans to ensure product reliability and conformance to requirements.
  • Identify and manage risk in product development, utilizing tools such as PFMEA, MSA, and Process Flow and Control Plans.
  • Develop and implement proactive quality strategies to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) from ABET-accredited institution.
  • 8+ years of engineering experience, or 5+ years with an advanced degree.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Quality Management Systems and experience with Pratt & Whitney quality systems and specifications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Practical knowledge of Pratt & Whitney Quality Management Systems.
  • ASQ certifications, such as CQE, CMQ, CSQP, or CQA.
  • Six Sigma Greenbelt certification.
