About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Manager to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive creative communications strategy that aligns with our organization's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Communications Strategy: Create and execute a communications plan that showcases our organization's mission, values, and initiatives to diverse audiences.
  • Manage Social Media Presence: Develop and implement social media campaigns to increase our online presence and engagement.
  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality content, including written and visual materials, to support our communications strategy.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with our team members to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and Analyze Performance: Track and analyze our communications efforts to ensure we are meeting our goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in communications, marketing, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong writing and communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and proficiency in social media platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Web Content Management Systems: Familiarity with web content management systems, such as WordPress or Drupal.
  • Graphic Design and Visual Storytelling: Experience with graphic design and visual storytelling, including photography and videography.
  • Marketing and Advertising: Experience with marketing and advertising, including social media advertising.
