Position Overview


This role is pivotal in developing and refining continuous production and manufacturing methodologies to meet the organization’s output, quality, and cost objectives.


The selected candidate will gather production metrics and utilize established scientific and statistical techniques to analyze, document, and illustrate production workflows.


This individual will formulate procedures, support new product introductions, validate processes, troubleshoot issues, and assist production teams, ensuring operational feasibility, executing manufacturing strategies, and investigating root causes that significantly affect key performance indicators (KPIs).


Daily interactions with various stakeholder groups will be essential to provide expert insights on processes, driving improvements through collaboration and teamwork.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct process revalidation to minimize cycle and setup times while maintaining product quality.
  • Facilitate training for supervisors, leads, operators, and maintenance personnel on the safe and effective use of equipment and tools.
  • Coordinate and instruct operators to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and implement 5S methodologies.
  • Identify and mitigate safety and quality concerns, enhancing efficiency by reviewing both new and existing tools, equipment, and production techniques with tooling specialists.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors for scheduling and troubleshooting needs.
  • Provide process guidance and training to operators.
  • Lead cross-functional team initiatives to identify critical issues, devise and implement corrective actions, and monitor and validate their effectiveness.
  • Explore, assess, and implement future-oriented processes, production techniques, and equipment with a strong focus on Industry 4.0.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (mandatory)
  • Master's Degree in Engineering (preferred)
  • 4+ years of progressive engineering experience (required)
  • Experience in Machining/Toolroom (preferred)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification (preferred)

We believe in the importance of pay transparency and provide a national pay range for this position, which is $79,500 to $123,400 per year. However, the actual base pay offered may vary based on geographic location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.


In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus, targeted at 10% of base salary based on both company and individual performance metrics.
