Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled electrical engineer to contribute to the full lifecycle of hardware projects. This includes the generation of requirements, conceptual design, detailed engineering, manufacturing processes, and the subsequent testing and commissioning phases. The successful candidate will excel in a dynamic start-up atmosphere and be eager to collaborate with a compact, high-performing, and hands-on team.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A recently earned bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
  • Foundational knowledge in power electronics and electric machinery.
  • Proficiency in programming and utilizing Microcontrollers and FPGAs.
  • Strong grasp of design principles and practices.
  • Immediate availability to commence work.
  • A proactive attitude towards working in a hands-on, rapidly changing environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree with relevant coursework in power electronics, control systems, and electric machinery.
  • Practical engineering experience in power electronics, including both firmware and hardware aspects.
  • Relevant experience through internships, laboratory work, or personal/team projects.
  • Extensive experience in programming and utilizing Microcontrollers and FPGAs.
  • Experience in programming control systems for induction, brushless, and reluctance motors, as well as inverters and DC converters.
  • A solid understanding of real-time control systems, A/D conversion timing, resolution, and instruction execution times.
  • Familiarity with design software such as Altium Designer or similar tools.
