About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Member Services Representative to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our members, employers, and internal customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and thorough interpretation of health benefits, claims processes, eligibility, and enrollment policies to members and employers.
  • Seek resolution of complex customer inquiries and facilitate problem resolution.
  • Model and act as an ambassador for the company while solving complex healthcare inquiries and advocating for customers.
  • Manage a high volume of incoming telephone calls and efficiently process calls, including accessing information, resolving concerns, and documenting encounters.
  • Follow assigned schedules to ensure appropriate phone queue coverage and interact with other departments to resolve issues.
  • Participate in initiatives, respond to requests for help, and engage in opportunities to mentor new colleagues and assist with department projects.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.
  • 6+ months of work experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
  • Prior experience training and working in a completely virtual and remote setting is a plus.
