*This range represents a national range and the actual salary will depend on several factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the skills, education, training, credentials, location, and experience of an applicant. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus payment.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities:

The role of Marketing Operations Specialist II is crucial in enhancing Marketing's ability to deliver effectively by utilizing technology, processes, vendors, and insights to achieve Marketing objectives.

The Hiring Manager may also consider candidates for a Senior Marketing Operations Specialist position based on the candidate's experience.

This role involves identifying and implementing process enhancements that align with marketing best practices. The Marketing Operations Specialist II collaborates across departments to prioritize and deliver improvements and new capabilities in Marketing's technology landscape. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates with management to analyze strategies, scopes, calendars, and deliverables for marketing technology initiatives.
  • Contributes to the development of operational plans supporting marketing strategies and ensures ongoing communication across the organization.
  • Documents and streamlines marketing workflows, processes, and best practices, participating in long-term process improvement implementations.
  • Communicates effectively with customers, leaders, and stakeholders through various means, including written and verbal communication.
  • Evaluates new technologies and applications to enhance marketing team performance, managing technical aspects of key marketing systems.
  • Oversees vendor relationships, budgets, contracts, and approvals, seeking opportunities for value-added vendor management services.

Qualifications:

Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, finance, management, information systems, or a related field with two years of relevant experience; or
  • Associate's degree in a related field with four years of relevant experience; or
  • High School diploma or GED with six years of relevant experience.
Additional Experience:
  • Proven experience in implementing process improvements.
  • Experience in achieving business outcomes is preferred.
  • Strong technology acumen is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting and data analysis are preferred.
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry is preferred.
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
