Job Title: Renewable Energy Sales Consultant

Applicants must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in photovoltaic (PV) solar systems. Familiarity with Solargraf software is highly advantageous and will be regarded as a considerable asset.

A solid understanding of the solar sector or prior experience in solar sales is essential to effectively promote solar solutions. We offer ongoing training to ensure you feel confident and equipped for success, with the potential to earn over $100,000. Your earning potential will grow with your experience and achievements.

A Renewable Energy Sales Consultant is tasked with utilizing their knowledge of solar products and services to engage with customers and generate sales from interested prospects. Requirements

Renewable Energy Sales Consultant Requirements:
  • Experience in solar sales is essential.
  • Sales experience is required.
  • Knowledge of Solargraf is a plus.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Enthusiastic representation of our brand and offerings.
  • Ability to present information persuasively.
  • Competitive spirit.
  • Capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in PV solar.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations (both residential and commercial).
  • Availability for five days a week, including evenings and some weekends.
Renewable Energy Sales Consultant Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in the solar industry.

  • Assist families in saving money through our customer-centric sales approach.
  • Confidently close solar and battery transactions with new homeowners while gaining valuable business development experience.
  • Conduct daily warm and cold calls to your pipeline and respond to inquiries from potential customers.

  • Address customer inquiries and fulfill their needs.
  • Engage in business-to-consumer outside and virtual sales consulting, along with comprehensive project management.
  • Prepare for appointments by creating Solargraf designs, proposals, presentations, and financial analyses of options.
  • Deliver effective, impactful, and educational presentations tailored to clients that ensure a positive experience at every meeting.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Maintain leads, opportunities, and all inter-departmental communications using CRM tools.
  • Promptly update notes on all client appointments in the CRM system.
  • Discuss options confidently and close contracts ethically.
  • Provide excellent customer service and generate referral sales when possible.
  • Identify potential customers to generate leads and build a pipeline.
  • Complete and submit all necessary documentation for each project.
  • Participate in company events to prospect and generate sales.
  • Engage in company training and meetings.
  • Network and seek opportunities for engagement to expand the client base.
  • Represent ProSolar's brand and our exclusive partnerships.
  • Stay informed about the latest solar energy products, technologies, and financing options.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Starting with significant earning potential, the average annual compensation for first-year sales representatives ranges from $100,000 to $140,000, with top performers earning substantially more.
  • Bonus and commission opportunities available.
