Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Radiation Therapist. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation: $50-$65

Role Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of a radiation oncologist, the Radiation Therapist is responsible for administering radiation therapy treatments to patients. Key functions include:

  • Delivering and documenting radiation therapy treatments accurately as directed.
  • Maintaining patient treatment records in the electronic medical system.
  • Participating in the training of new staff and students.
  • Assisting with scheduling patient appointments and ensuring accurate billing.
  • Creating custom molds and cutting blocks as needed.
  • Performing basic calculations related to treatment.
  • Interpreting computerized treatment plans accurately.
  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
  • ARRT certification is required, along with a valid state license for radiation therapy.
  • Radiation Therapist I: 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Radiation Therapist II: 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Senior Radiation Therapist: 5+ years of relevant experience.

Applicants will be assigned to the appropriate title based on their qualifications and experience.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this role include the ability to sit, use hands for handling tasks, and occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds. Vision and hearing must be corrected to normal ranges.

Work Environment:
This position is primarily office-based, requiring interaction with management, staff, and external clients.
