Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Orthotic Specialist to join our team. This role will also involve assisting with administrative tasks at our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs.
2. Provide education to patients regarding their treatment options.
3. Handle order fulfillment and fittings for a variety of orthotic products, including compression therapy garments and diabetic footwear.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare practitioners to deliver comprehensive patient care across various settings, including clinics and hospitals.
5. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient health records while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
6. Participate in ongoing education and training as required by the company.
7. Travel to various locations to provide patient care and educate referral sources, using a personal vehicle.
8. Manage financial transactions related to patient services, including copayments and deductibles.
9. Oversee inventory management, including shipping, unpacking, and order processing.
10. Adhere to company standards for pricing, coding, and billing while ensuring accurate patient cost calculations.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in Orthotics or Prosthetics is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer skills with a typing speed of at least 35 wpm.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Dependable and adaptable with a keen attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance that meets state requirements.
