Position Summary

Regal Marine Industries is in search of a skilled and customer-oriented Product Support Specialist to enhance our Customer Experience team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our clients enjoy a superior experience with our products. Your technical expertise, strong communication abilities, and commitment to customer satisfaction will play a vital role in upholding Regal Marine's esteemed reputation for quality.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Assistance
    • Deliver comprehensive technical support to Regal dealers and customers, addressing concerns related to the operation, maintenance, and performance of our boats.
  2. Customer Engagement
    • Manage customer inquiries through various channels, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of issues or concerns.
  3. Product Expertise
    • Maintain an extensive understanding of our product offerings, keeping abreast of new features, enhancements, and maintenance protocols.
  4. Feedback Gathering
    • Proactively collect customer feedback and relay insights to product development teams to support product improvements and innovation.
  5. Record Keeping
    • Maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions, issues, and resolutions, ensuring high accuracy and attention to detail.
  6. Troubleshooting
    • Identify and resolve product issues, providing clear guidance to customers for effective solutions.
  7. Training Development
    • Assist in the creation of training materials and educational resources for Regal dealers and customers, enhancing their knowledge and enjoyment of our products.
  8. Collaborative Support
    • Work collaboratively with other departments, including sales and engineering, to deliver comprehensive support and ensure consistent customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
  1. Experience in customer support, technical assistance, or a related field, preferably within the boating or marine sector.
  2. Strong technical skills and the ability to quickly grasp new product information.
  3. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Proficient problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
  5. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  6. Familiarity with CRM systems and support software.
  7. Conversational proficiency in English.
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this position, the employee may encounter various weather conditions, typical office settings, or factory environments that are not climate-controlled. The noise level in the workplace is generally moderate, with certain areas of the factory exhibiting high levels of fiberglass and dust.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

While fulfilling the responsibilities of this position, the employee will primarily be seated at a desk and working on a computer for extended periods. The employee may frequently need to enter non-climate-controlled manufacturing areas to collaborate with management and team members on HR-related matters. Occasionally, the employee may be required to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds.
