The Johns Hopkins Medical Call Center (Patient Access Services) is in search of compassionate customer service professionals who excel in problem-solving and can adapt quickly to various situations. Contribute to delivering top-tier healthcare by:

  • Handling incoming and outgoing communications (calls, emails, faxes, etc.) between healthcare providers and patients seeking services
  • Building rapport with patients while collaborating with a skilled, multi-disciplinary team
  • Facilitating complex appointment scheduling

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is required.

A minimum of two years of experience in a medical office, hospital, medical call center, or a comparable customer service role is necessary.

Ability to converse and type simultaneously, along with outstanding verbal and written communication skills, is essential.

Hybrid work model - Initial training may occur on-site for several weeks, followed by one day in the office each week at most.
