About the Role

As a Strategic Negotiator at Google, you will combine your deep market knowledge of a given sector with tech industry savvy to negotiate cost-effective solutions to support Google's infrastructure growth. You will work with specific project teams on negotiating deals, managing vendor and partner relationships, and presenting deal recommendations to our Tech leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance and safeguard the data center lifecycle by developing and maintaining our data centers and building the next generation of Google platforms.
  • Manage projects across the Central United States region, combining creativity and intellectual standards with the organization.
  • Execute our economic, sustainability, and social contributions to create connections between technology and modern life.
  • Provide public policy leadership and assist in building our workforce development pipeline.
  • Build relationships within Google and externally by networking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience negotiating and structuring agreements or leading business development.
  • 6 years of experience in technology public affairs.
  • Experience working on technology policy issues or communications within government, think tanks, public interest groups, private sector, or relevant industry associations.
  • Preferred qualifications: Experience leading cross-functional programs or projects, experience working with public policy teams and cross-functional stakeholders, ability to identify opportunities and areas for improvement, and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
