Role Summary:
The Creative Writer's Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Writer and Senior Producer with essential tasks and scheduling requirements. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a collaborative atmosphere and are passionate about the creative process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct assistance to the Head Writer and Senior Producer for urgent tasks and scheduling needs.
  • Collaborate with the Writer's Coordinator to create and distribute materials for daily creative meetings.
  • Maintain and update archives, including databases for various segments and games.
  • Document notes during daily meetings with writers.
  • Prepare and distribute final monologue documents to the studio floor.
  • Ensure the Writers' Room is well-stocked and organized.
  • Distribute scripts for daily studio rehearsals.
  • Track monologue and show elements within the database.
  • Assist writers with internet research and material proofreading.
  • Supervise interns during production runs.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a television production environment (preferably at a studio or network).
  • At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
