A current and valid state driver's license is also required. Knowledge of JCAHO/OSHA regulations and standards is essential. The Director of Plant Operations will oversee the environmental services and security departments, ensuring that all safety protocols are in place and that the hospital is in compliance with all relevant regulations. This is a full-time position that requires a college degree related to building construction and maintenance, as well as experience with boilers, chillers, hot water distribution systems, emergency power generators, safety codes, HVAC, and electrical systems. Responsibilities

Oversee the environmental services and security departments to ensure safe operating conditions

Manage maintenance, environmental services, and related services in a hospital environment

Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accrediting agencies

Collaborate with the CEO to support the overall operation of the facility

Supervise and train staff to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties safely and efficiently

Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in plant operations and safety

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and patient care

Qualifications

Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in maintenance, environmental services, and related services in a hospital environment

Current and valid state driver's license

Knowledge of JCAHO/OSHA regulations and standards

College degree related to building construction and maintenance

Experience with boilers, chillers, hot water distribution systems, emergency power generators, safety codes, HVAC, and electrical systems
