Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Batching Operator to join our team at Niagara Bottling. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality and safety standards in our batching operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Precisely inspect, stage, weigh, and mix ingredients according to product recipes, collaborating with Quality Assurance Technicians as needed.
  • Pre-weigh, blend, and liquefy components for beverage preparation, accurately documenting lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitation of batching equipment and fillers, adhering to company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
  • Operate forklifts to load/move ingredients, following all safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Adhere to Niagara's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards at all times, maintaining general housekeeping and quality in all areas of batching, production, and assigned areas.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Ability to speak effectively with management and employees at all levels, with good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work up to 12 hour shifts, day or night, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.

Education
  • High School Diploma is the minimum required education.
