Job Overview

Resource Innovations is in search of a seasoned Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Program Manager to enhance our Government Services division. This role will focus on the effective implementation of IRA initiatives, specifically targeting Homes and HEEHRA across various states. You will be supported by our senior leadership team, including the SVP of Program Delivery and the VP of PMO, providing you with a unique opportunity to establish a premier startup function that can be scaled nationally. Once the initial launch phase is completed, this position will transition into overseeing the ongoing programs you helped initiate.

As a Program Manager at Resource Innovations, you will collaborate closely with senior program leaders to ensure we meet internal timelines and surpass partner and client expectations. Your responsibilities will include establishing best practices, managing diverse projects, tracking deliverables and milestones, and fostering cross-functional collaboration within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and support the activities of large-scale energy programs in conjunction with program leadership, delivery partners, and State Energy offices.
  • Monitor high-level program deliverables, timelines, and milestones to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Organize leadership meetings, including agenda tracking, note-taking, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate with internal support teams such as Operations, Finance, IT, Engineering, and Marketing.
  • Engage with clients both in-person and virtually throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in problem resolution by collaborating with colleagues and subcontractors to address issues or preparing materials for leadership briefings on emerging challenges.
  • Conduct necessary analyses to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to the greater area.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in the energy efficiency sector.
  • Strong organizational and scheduling capabilities.
  • Experience in client management.
  • Proven ability to track project timelines effectively.
  • Willingness to exert extra effort when necessary, with a supportive team environment.
  • Highly motivated with the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Asana, Smartsheets, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • High degree of cultural sensitivity and inclusiveness.

Preferred Experience and Education

  • Previous experience in energy efficiency or utility sectors, particularly in market transformation.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is preferred.
  • Experience working with governmental clients and agencies.
  • Prior management experience in energy efficiency programs.
