Job Overview

Resource Innovations is in search of a skilled Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Program Manager to enhance our Government Services division. This role will concentrate on the effective initiation of IRA programs, particularly in the realms of residential and HEEHRA initiatives across various states. You will collaborate closely with our senior leadership team, including the SVP of Program Delivery and the VP of PMO, to establish a robust startup function that can be scaled nationwide. Once the initial phases are completed, your responsibilities will transition to overseeing the ongoing programs you helped to establish.

As a Program Manager at Resource Innovations, you will engage with senior program leaders to ensure that we not only meet internal deadlines but also surpass the expectations of our partners and clients. Your role will involve setting best practices, managing multiple projects, tracking deliverables, and fostering collaboration within the internal team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and support the operations of large-scale energy programs in conjunction with program leadership and state energy offices.
  • Monitor high-level program deliverables, timelines, and milestones to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Organize and manage leadership meetings, including agenda tracking, note-taking, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate with internal support teams such as Operations, Finance, IT, Engineering, and Marketing.
  • Engage with clients both in-person and virtually throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in resolving issues by collaborating with colleagues and subcontractors, and prepare materials for leadership briefings on emerging challenges.
  • Conduct necessary analyses to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to the greater area.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in energy efficiency.
  • Exceptional organizational and scheduling abilities.
  • Experience in client management.
  • Proven track record in tracking project timelines.
  • Willingness to exert extra effort when necessary, with support from the team.
  • Highly motivated and adaptable, capable of shifting priorities seamlessly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Asana, Smartsheets, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential information sensitively.
  • High degree of cultural sensitivity and inclusiveness.

Preferred Experience and Education

  • Experience in energy efficiency or utility sectors, particularly in market transformation.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is preferred.
  • Experience working with governmental clients or agencies.
  • Prior experience in managing energy efficiency programs.
