Job Title: General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our team at Master Plumbers Heating and Cooling. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and developing strategic plans that align with the company's vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the trade/operational management team, ensuring the effective execution of strategies that drive sales initiatives, streamline business operations, and improve efficiency across all internal systems.
  • Uphold company values related to ethics, integrity, and corporate responsibility, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Analyze current and future industry trends to accurately assess the business's needs, functional responsibilities, strengths, and weaknesses, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Ensure proper resource allocation and identify opportunities for new value creation, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Assess and manage third-party vendors that provide mission-critical support across finance, HR, IT, legal, and asset or material acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration and effective collaboration.
  • Work with the HR and management team to create a talent and succession plan that ensures the right people are in the right place to meet business goals, driving organizational development and growth.
  • Participate in developing and administering company policies and procedures, leading by example in their enforcement, promoting a culture of compliance and accountability.
  • Regularly analyze budgeting, revenue, profit, and cash flow opportunities, recommending actions to drive business growth and profitability.
Requirements:
  • BS/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MS/MBA is a plus.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience totaling ten (10) years.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience working with a management or executive level team.
  • Management or leadership experience within a home service company (HVAC, plumbing, electric, and/or construction home service business is a plus but not required).
  • Demonstrated involvement in long-term strategic planning and business development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM and sales software is a plus.
