Job Summary

The Medical Receptionist plays a vital role in providing a positive patient experience at Mercy Medical Center. As the first point of contact for patients, they are responsible for greeting and registering patients, as well as managing front desk operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule patients for appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate with healthcare providers.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Administrative Tasks: Scan medical records, collect and verify patient information, and manage payment processing.
  • Triage and Prioritization: Triage patient phone calls to determine urgency and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Confidentiality and Compliance: Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information, and adhere to Mercy Medical Center's policies and procedures.
