Position OverviewThe Clinical Customer Service Representative (CCSR) acts as a pivotal contact point for patients, families, visitors, and healthcare professionals within patient care units. This role is essential in enhancing service quality by addressing diverse needs and concerns with professionalism and efficiency. Responsibilities include supporting medical, nursing, and administrative personnel to fulfill unit, department, and institutional requirements through the utilization of information and computer systems.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent; one year of college coursework is preferred.
- At least six months of experience in healthcare or office settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and various software applications.
- Capability to independently manage multiple tasks, identify service interventions, and propose process enhancements.
- Familiarity with clinical and administrative automated systems and software.
