Job Title: Professor of Human Genetics

We are seeking a highly qualified Professor of Human Genetics to join our team at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for leading our Genomic Health Program and contributing to our research efforts in human genetics.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the operational and research management of the Genomic Health Program
  • Develop and coordinate a Genomic Health Steering Committee to ensure effective implementation of the program
  • Provide routine updates on the operations and outcomes of the program to senior leadership
  • Identify, develop, and grow external industry partnerships to advance the program's impact
  • Serve as a resource for FDA, OHRP, and CMS regulations pertaining to human subject research
  • Participate in in-service, education, and other training programs for the program's staff and faculty
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a healthcare-related field or MD/DO/PhD in a medical or scientific field
  • Minimum of 10 years of direct experience in clinical research
  • Knowledgeable of relevant FDA, NIH, CMS, OHRP, HIPAA, and other clinical research and human subject regulations and guidelines
  • Demonstrated experience in industry partnerships to advance translation and in-market impact
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and partnership-building skills
