Principal, Design Strategy (Hybrid - Boston, NH or RI)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Strategy Principal to join our Product Design Strategy team at Fidelity Investments. As a member of this team, you will contribute to the company's future growth by using human-centered design to understand customers, generate new offerings, and rapidly experiment with new ideas.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct user research to identify insights and opportunity areas
  • Lead ideation and testing through prototypes
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to drive human-centered design solutions
  • Develop and execute qualitative research using various methods based on project goals and timelines
  • Translate insights and opportunities into design and product solutions

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in design or business, or 5-7 years of experience in Design Research / Design Strategy / Experience Strategy
  • Background working on multiple projects at a design or innovation firm
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bonus points for experience working within a highly-regulated industry (e.g. health care, financial services)
