Design Strategy and Innovation Role

Fidelity Investments is seeking a talented Design Strategy and Innovation professional to join our Product Design Strategy team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role that requires working onsite all business days of every other week in a Fidelity office. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that partners with business units across Fidelity to create new products and solutions for our clients and prospects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct user research and analysis to identify insights and opportunity areas
  • Lead ideation and concept development to create innovative solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test prototypes
  • Develop and execute strategic design plans to drive business growth
  • Communicate design strategies and solutions to stakeholders
Requirements
  • Master's degree in design or business, AND/OR 5-7 years of experience in Design Research / Design Strategy / Experience Strategy
  • Background working on multiple projects at a design or innovation firm
  • Ability to participate in a multidisciplinary cross-disciplinary team through the human-centered design process
  • Research chops- ability to independently design, lead, and execute qualitative research
  • Synthesis expertise- ability to get to the 'so what,' actionable insights, key frameworks, and opportunity areas from research
  • Ability to translate insights and opportunities to design and product solutions
  • Excellent communication skills
