Role Overview

We are in search of a motivated individual to enhance our supply chain operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless importation and distribution of radioactive isotopes, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality radiopharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage supply chain interactions for the importation of radioactive isotopes from international vendors.
  • Oversee the ordering process, import clearance, and final delivery of isotopes to our facility.
  • Maintain effective relationships with courier services for both incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Coordinate the distribution of finished radiopharmaceutical products to healthcare facilities and end-users.
  • Facilitate order processing for radiopharmaceutical products from CDMO clients through various communication channels.
  • Generate and manage necessary transportation documentation for shipments, including hazardous material declarations.
  • Utilize spreadsheets and our online portal to maintain clinical site information.
  • Monitor shipment progress and relay updates to both internal teams and end-users.
  • Adhere to strict protocols for the receipt and release of radioactive materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Support internal teams in the final packaging of hazardous radioactive materials.
  • Engage in procurement activities for non-radioactive supplies.
  • Ensure meticulous record-keeping in accordance with Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
  • Participate in various projects and departmental meetings, contributing insights and executing assigned tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with all safety and pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Review inventory data to identify discrepancies in stock levels.
  • Ensure proper labeling and stocking of inventory to maintain sterility integrity.
  • Review, revise, and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to supply chain functions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a technical field and prior experience in radiopharmaceuticals is preferred.
  • Certifications in DOT and IATA Hazardous Materials are highly desirable.
  • This position requires on-site presence during regular business hours.
  • Knowledge of Customs Compliance and International Trade Regulations is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and efficiency in work processes.
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts for management and clients.
  • Proven capability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in logistics operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience in electronic record-keeping environments.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
