Key Responsibilities:
- Manage supply chain relationships for the importation of radioactive isotopes from international suppliers.
- Facilitate isotope ordering, import clearance, and final delivery to our facility.
- Maintain partnerships with couriers for the transportation of materials, both inbound and outbound.
- Coordinate the delivery of finished radiopharmaceutical products to clinics and end-users.
- Assist CDMO customers with final orders of radiopharmaceutical products through email and our online ordering portal.
- Prepare and maintain transportation documentation required for inbound and outbound shipments, including hazardous material declarations.
- Utilize Excel spreadsheets and our ordering portal to maintain clinical site information.
- Monitor shipment statuses and communicate updates to end-users and internal teams.
- Adhere to strict procedures for receiving and releasing radioactive packages in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and radiation safety practices.
- Support internal teams with the final packaging of radioactive hazardous materials.
- Contribute to general procurement activities for non-radioactive materials.
- Ensure accurate and comprehensive record-keeping in a Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment.
- Engage in various projects and departmental meetings, providing input, feedback, and executing assigned tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Review inventory data to identify shortages or excesses.
- Ensure proper stocking and labeling of inventory to maintain sterility integrity.
- Participate in the review, revision, and creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to supply chain functions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a technical field and prior experience in radiopharmaceuticals is preferred.
- DOT and IATA Hazardous Material Certifications are strongly desired.
- This position requires on-site presence during weekdays.
- Knowledge of Customs Compliance and International Trade Regulations is highly valued.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Strong multitasking and efficiency skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional oral and written communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills under strict timelines.
- Ability to simplify complex ideas for management and customers.
- Proven ability to work independently and exercise judgment during logistics processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Project, etc.) and experience in electronic record-keeping environments.
- Pharmaceutical experience is preferred.
