Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage supply chain relationships for the importation of radioactive isotopes from international suppliers.
  • Oversee the ordering process, import clearance, and final delivery of isotopes to our facility.
  • Maintain effective communication with couriers for both inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Coordinate the distribution of finished radiopharmaceutical products to clinics and end-users.
  • Facilitate order processing for radiopharmaceutical products through customer channels.
  • Prepare and manage transportation documentation for hazardous materials.
  • Utilize spreadsheets and ordering systems to maintain clinical site information.
  • Monitor shipment statuses and relay updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Adhere to strict protocols for the handling of radioactive packages in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Assist in the final packaging of hazardous materials.
  • Support procurement activities for non-radioactive supplies.
  • Ensure meticulous record-keeping in accordance with Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
  • Engage in departmental projects and meetings, providing valuable input and executing assigned tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Review inventory levels to identify discrepancies and ensure proper stock management.
  • Ensure that inventory is accurately labeled and stored to maintain integrity.
  • Participate in the review and creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to supply chain functions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a technical field and prior experience in radiopharmaceuticals is preferred.
  • Certifications in DOT and IATA Hazardous Materials are highly desirable.
  • Position requires on-site presence during business hours.
  • Knowledge of Customs Compliance and International Trade Regulations is advantageous.
  • Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated independence and sound judgment in logistics operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experienced in electronic record-keeping.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is preferred.
