Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage supply chain relationships for the importation of radioactive isotopes from international vendors.
  • Facilitate isotope ordering, import clearance, and delivery logistics to our facility.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with couriers for the transportation of materials.
  • Coordinate the distribution of finished radiopharmaceutical products to healthcare facilities and end-users.
  • Assist CDMO clients with final orders of radiopharmaceutical products through various communication channels.
  • Generate and maintain essential transportation documentation for shipments, including hazardous material declarations.
  • Organize clinical site data using spreadsheets and the Evergreen ordering system.
  • Monitor shipment progress and relay updates to both end-users and internal teams.
  • Adhere to strict protocols for the receipt and release of radioactive packages in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and radiation safety standards.
  • Support internal teams in the final packaging of hazardous radioactive materials.
  • Contribute to procurement activities for non-radioactive supplies.
  • Ensure accurate and thorough record-keeping in accordance with Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
  • Engage in various projects and departmental meetings, providing insights and executing assigned responsibilities.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety and pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Review inventory data to identify potential shortages or excesses.
  • Ensure proper stocking and labeling of inventory to maintain sterility integrity.
  • Participate in the review, revision, and creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to supply chain functions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a technical field and prior experience in radiopharmaceuticals is preferred.
  • Certifications in DOT and IATA Hazardous Materials are highly desirable.
  • This position requires on-site presence during standard business hours.
  • Knowledge of Customs Compliance and International Trade Regulations is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong multitasking and efficiency skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts for management and clients.
  • Proven capacity to work independently and exercise sound judgment in logistics operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience in electronic record-keeping environments.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
