Job Overview

The District Sales Manager will be responsible for selling medical devices and related equipment and services to physicians, hospitals, and outpatient facilities. This role requires establishing relationships with healthcare providers and traveling to various locations to meet sales goals.



The territory for this position covers Arizona, New Mexico, and the El Paso, TX area. The Urology division of Cook Medical focuses on diagnostic and therapeutic products, including stone management, oncology, voiding dysfunction, and pelvic health.



The product line includes ureteral access sheaths, dilation and occlusion balloon catheters, ureteral and urethral stents, stone extraction devices, biopsy needles and forceps, drainage catheters, lasers, and lithotripters.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop new business and expand existing business
  • Meet and exceed projected sales goals
  • Participate in national, state, and regional sales exhibits
  • Maintain timely expense reports
  • Keep current on the managed health care environment
  • Educate customers through conversations, presentations/in-services, and literature


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience in problem solving and working independently
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle and lift product sample cases weighing between 20 and 50 lbs.


This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and work effectively with various levels of the global organization.
