About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at The Odyssey Restaurant and Event Center. As a key member of our culinary leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping the culinary direction of our establishment and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Operations: Oversee all aspects of the culinary operations at The Odyssey Restaurant and Event Center, ensuring high-quality food, efficient service, and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Menu Development: Develop and execute seasonal menus that showcase creativity, innovation, and culinary excellence, while maintaining a focus on farm-to-table cuisine and over-the-top culinary and cocktail programs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff to consistently deliver exceptional food quality and service, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Financial Management: Manage food costing, inventory control, and budgeting to ensure financial targets are met, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety.
  • Event Catering: Collaborate with the events team to create custom menus and cater to the specific needs of private events and banquets, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or catering/event establishment, with a strong culinary background and passion for creating innovative and flavorful dishes.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Culinary Education: Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred, with a strong understanding of food safety standards and best practices.
