East Boston Neighborhood Health Center (EBNHC) seeks a dedicated and organized PACE Center Secretary to join our team

As a vital member of the PACE Center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of administrative tasks, directly impacting the well-being and experience of our participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling Excellence: Manage appointments efficiently, utilizing EPIC scheduling software to coordinate participant visits and internal meetings.
  • Communication is Key: Notify participants and families about upcoming appointments and arrangements, ensuring clear and timely communication.
  • Transportation Coordination: Oversee all transportation arrangements for PACE Center attendance and external appointments, guaranteeing seamless travel logistics for our participants.
  • Phone Triage Specialist: Answer incoming calls promptly and effectively triage inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff members within the PACE Center team.
  • Data Management & Records: Maintain accurate medical records and manage data entry tasks, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to established protocols.
  • Environmental Support: Contribute to a clean and organized work environment by performing various departmental and environmental duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with participants, families, and colleagues.
