Job Title: Senior Account Executive - Consumer Insights

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our team at Nielsen Consumer LLC. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for securing new customers by performing all sales activities and account management, from lead generation to close, through to fulfillment for prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed revenue targets by executing against sales initiatives, including attending in-person trade shows, performing cold-call lead generation, and conducting marketing campaigns to identify potential clients.
  • Proactively prospect the marketplace to expand our client base and drive repeat purchases with occasional buyers.
  • Use a consultative selling approach to identify client business needs, qualify, probe, scope, and sell in NielsenIQ services.
  • Execute end-to-end sales processes, including price generation, writing proposals, negotiating terms, closing sales, and ensuring delivery to clients.
  • Develop and manage relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Manage client relationships and sales efforts with recurring ad-hoc clients by promptly answering client questions regarding data quality, service offerings, and product delivery.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Become proficient in NielsenIQ services, systems, and software tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience as an account executive is required.
  • CPG or experience selling a product or software is required.
  • Strong selling, critical thinking, analytic, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and well-organized.
  • Creative, independent work ethic with the ability to solve problems.
  • Proficient in MS Office products.
