Job Title: Senior Civil Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineering Manager to lead our team in Washington, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians to create land development plans for commercial, institutional, and municipal clients
  • Manage and design all technical activities related to project development
  • Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, and error budgets
  • Responsible for project monitoring and control, including cost control, forecasting, and schedule updates
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, inspectors, engineers, and subcontractors throughout the project duration
  • Mentor and manage staff at all levels
  • Assist with on-site and owner meetings
  • Maintain up-to-date project documentation and communicate changes to relevant parties
  • Assist in developing the engineering department's annual budget
  • Obtain required project permits and assist with pre-construction items
  • Prepare and submit project close-out documents
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • PE license in Pennsylvania (license in other states is a plus)
  • At least 10 years of civil engineering experience
  • 5 or more years of staff management experience
  • Expertise in site development discipline, with a preference for oil and gas projects
  • Ability to travel among offices and project sites as required
