About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineering Manager to lead our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects spanning across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage a team of civil engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their professional development.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
  • Utilize expertise in Roadway, Civil 3D, 2D AutoCAD to design and plan infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and public spaces.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Prepare and present project reports, proposals, technical drawings, and design specifications to clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification will be highly advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects such as roadways and public spaces.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading a team of engineers and technicians.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in using Civil 3D, 2D AutoCAD, and other relevant design software.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, civil engineering principles, and project management best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • A valid driver's license, as the role may involve travel to project sites.
