Civil Engineering Manager

At Synerfac, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineering Manager to lead our team in creating innovative land development plans for our commercial, institutional, and municipal clients. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in site development and project management to drive business growth and success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers to design and develop land development plans for our clients
  • Manage and coordinate all technical activities, including project planning, risk management, and cost control
  • Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, and error budgets to ensure project success
  • Collaborate with owners, architects, inspectors, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Mentor and manage staff at all levels to ensure their growth and development
  • Assist with onsite and owner meetings to ensure effective communication and project progress
  • Maintain up-to-date project documentation and communicate changes to relevant parties
  • Contribute to the development of the engineering department's annual budget and assist with project permitting and preconstruction activities
  • Prepare and submit project closeout documents to ensure a smooth project handover

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania (other state licenses are a plus)
  • At least 10 years of Civil Engineering experience, with 5+ years of staff management experience
  • Expertise in site development, with a preference for Oil & Gas projects
  • Ability to travel among offices and project sites as required
