Your Role in Our TEAM:

  • Develop construction budgets, schedules, and implement safety and quality controls.
  • Assess material, subcontractor, and labor needs.
  • Manage project buy-outs within an approved budget of less than $5,000.00.
  • Support the sales team/project manager with larger project buy-outs.
  • Oversee, mentor, and inspire superintendents.
  • Conduct regular safety and quality inspections.
  • Assist superintendents in addressing complex construction and code challenges, as well as subcontractor relations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including the job site safety program.
  • For all assigned projects:
    • Establish Planning Lines
    • Set up project budgets – oversee and manage financials – forecasting
    • Initiate Purchase Orders and Change Orders
    • Engage in pre-construction meetings; inspect job sites weekly; generate weekly reports for the Director of Construction; verify documentation of change orders; ensure customer satisfaction through project completion; and assist the sales team with collections as necessary.
    • Participate in EPC Calls and project kick-off meetings.
    • Facilitate monthly project forecasting.
    • Generate reports on the financial status of projects.
    • Oversee project buy-outs and cultivate effective, mutually beneficial relationships with vendors and subcontractors, while exploring new sourcing opportunities. Conduct weekly payables reviews.
  • Address and resolve client inquiries and complaints.
  • Inform the General Manager of any staff or project-related issues.
  • Enhance profitability through innovative cost-saving strategies.
  • Participate in the emergency on-call rotation and manage the BUCU process and equipment.
  • Promote safe driving practices for the team and encourage compliance among direct reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
