Intrepid Investment Banking Managing Director

We are seeking a seasoned Managing Director to join our Environmental Services M&A team at MUFG Bank, Ltd. As a key member of our investment banking team, you will be responsible for leading high-profile transactions and driving business growth in the environmental services sector.
Key Responsibilities- Lead deal teams in origination and execution, working closely with junior bankers and clients
- Build relationships with deal referral sources and business owners
- Identify, qualify, and generate new prospect leads
- Manage client relationships and oversee all client and counter-party communication
- Develop thought leadership in target sectors and lead a specific practice or product area
- Oversee due diligence processes and materials
- Create comprehensive pitchbooks, information memoranda, management presentations, and marketing materials
- Lead all key steps in the sale execution process and negotiate with clients and counter-parties
- Assist other bankers in firm-building activities, including training, recruiting, mentoring, and more
- 10+ years of experience in sell-side M&A advisory
- Minimum 5 years of industry-specific M&A experience
- Fundamental understanding of the environmental services industry with a specific sector focus
- Outstanding academic credentials from a top-tier school
- Team player with a willingness to take an integral role in Intrepid's growth
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly proficient financial analysis and modeling skills
- Significant level of maturity and ability to work as part of a small team
- Self-starter with the ability to work in an entrepreneurial, demanding, and fast-paced environment
- FINRA Series 7, 63, or 79 license
The typical base salary for this role is $250,000, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition to a competitive salary, you will be eligible for a variable incentive amount that can range up to 25% per transaction, subject to final approval by the CEO of MUFG Bank, Ltd.
