Job Summary
This position is responsible for managing and implementing national accounts to meet specified targets and service accounts to meet corporate and divisional sales/renewal objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with the assigned strategic account executive to develop tactical plans and execute the account strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and implement national accounts to meet specified targets and service accounts to meet corporate and divisional sales/renewal objectives.
- Work closely with the assigned strategic account executive to develop tactical plans and execute the account strategy.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client issues, coordinate client meetings, and responsible for training.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 2 years' experience in Account Management, Insurance/Sales or Health Care field OR 6 years' experience in Account Management, Insurance/Sales or Health Care field.
- State General Lines Agent Life, Health, and HMO license or obtain General Lines Agent Life, Health, and HMO license within required time frame per state regulations.
- Experience with presenting in front of a small audience.
- Experience leading a team on a task or project.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Project management skills including workflow and resource allocation.
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Liberal Arts, Health Care Administration or Finance.
- Knowledge of HCSC products, services, and processes, including rating and funding.
- Knowledge of HCSC systems knowledge (BlueCHIP, BlueSTAR, Accums, CRM, contact management, MS Office suite, etc.).
- Knowledge of competitor and industry trends, including legislative and regulatory.
