Position Overview:

The University of Alabama is seeking a dedicated and qualified individual for a faculty role in the Department of Family, Internal, and Rural Medicine. This position focuses on Endocrinology and involves responsibilities such as:

Detailed Position Information:

The College of Community Health Sciences is excited to offer a full-time, non-tenure earning clinical track position for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in educating future healthcare professionals while also participating in administrative duties typical of a faculty appointment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree and be Board eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine, with a completed fellowship in Endocrinology. Candidates should meet the medical licensure requirements for Alabama.

Preferred Qualifications:

A proven record of scholarship, particularly in medical education, is highly desirable. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a collaborative spirit, a commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork, and possess excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
