About the Role

Zayo Group is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive II to join our sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for actively selling into dormant, new logo, and prospective accounts in need of a broad spectrum of communications infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Generate sales revenue by promoting Zayo products and services to targeted and assigned territories.
  2. Execute regional go-to-market plans to increase sales revenue in Zayo OnNet/Near Net buildings.
  3. Manage high volumes of work while maintaining a high degree of responsiveness.
  4. Track, analyze, and report on sales performance and activities in Salesforce and other reporting tools.
  5. Provide accurate and timely forecasts of sales opportunities.
  6. Develop and maintain records of customer activity for reporting of sales and forecast.
  7. Provide accurate and timely information to management.
  8. Coordinate closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue objectives are met.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience.
  2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in the Telecom industry.
  3. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Salesforce a plus.
  4. Strong financial acumen.
  5. Quick learner who collaborates well with others.
  6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  7. Exceptional customer service and relationship building/maintaining skills.
  8. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  9. A sense of urgency and desire to rapidly accelerate results and career with Zayo Group Sales.
  10. Excellent interpersonal skills and can work effectively with a diverse group of personalities.
