Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in retail automotive and gain experience in the parts and service side of our business. As a Parts Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive the best possible service and support.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of parts to customers.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and staff to resolve any issues or concerns related to parts sales.
  • Review and verify parts orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide high-level service to internal and external customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Pull and fill orders from stock, maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring timely delivery of parts.
  • Conduct weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock and notify the parts manager of any discrepancies.
  • Locate out-of-stock parts from external sources and submit emergency orders as needed.
  • Process payments from retail customers or obtain credit authorization as required.
  • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of parts.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in auto parts sales preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of organization and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including discounts, interest, and commissions.
