Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Parts Sales Associate and play a critical role in the success of our dealership. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for overseeing the parts sales process, communicating with customers and staff, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Parts Sales and Order Management: Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate with customers on parts status, provide price quotes, and respond to customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a weekly bin check to ensure accuracy of stock, notify the parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention, and locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pull and fill orders from stock, set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up, and ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
  • Customer Service: Provide high-level service to internal and external customers, receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization, and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Experience with auto parts sales preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to read and interpret documents, and ability to calculate figures and amounts.
