Position Overview:
We are in search of a highly skilled and motivated CAM Programmer to become a vital part of our innovative team.
This is a permanent role where the selected candidate will be responsible for designing and executing Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) programs for a variety of intricate projects.
The CAM Programmer will collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our operations.
This position demands exceptional precision, meticulous attention to detail, and a solid understanding of CAD software, blueprint interpretation, and quality assurance principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement CAM programs for diverse CNC machinery based on engineering specifications.
- Work in partnership with the engineering team to interpret and understand design requirements.
- Enhance machining processes by fine-tuning speed, feed, and other parameters.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to guarantee the precision and quality of CAM programs.
- Diagnose and resolve challenges related to CAM programming and CNC operations.
- Utilize CAD software to create and modify component models and assemblies.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all CAM programming tasks.
- Provide technical support and expertise to the production team.
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends, tools, and methodologies in CAM programming.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in CAM programming.
- Proficiency in CAM/CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam, etc.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality assurance principles.
- Excellent skills in blueprint interpretation.
- Experience with precision measurement instruments.
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment.
