Position Overview:

We are in search of a highly qualified CAM Programmer to enhance our team.

This is a permanent role where the selected candidate will be responsible for designing and executing Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) programs for a range of intricate projects.

The CAM Programmer will collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to guarantee optimal quality and efficiency in our operations.

This position demands exceptional precision, meticulous attention to detail, and a robust understanding of CAD software, blueprint interpretation, and quality assurance principles.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement CAM programs for various CNC machinery based on engineering specifications.
  • Work with the engineering team to comprehend and interpret design requirements.
  • Enhance machining processes by fine-tuning speed, feed, and other operational parameters.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to confirm the precision and quality of CAM programs.
  • Diagnose and resolve challenges related to CAM programming and CNC operations.
  • Utilize CAD software to develop and adjust part models and assemblies.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all CAM programming tasks.
  • Offer technical support and expertise to the production team.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry developments, tools, and methodologies in CAM programming.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in CAM programming.
  • Proficient in CAM/CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality assurance principles.
  • Excellent skills in blueprint interpretation.
  • Experience with precision measurement instruments.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently in a dynamic environment.
