Job Overview:

The Cost Schedule Analyst plays a vital role in overseeing financial expenditures and timelines associated with contracts that necessitate a validated cost schedule control system.

This position involves conducting detailed analyses and generating reports to confirm that contracts adhere to both negotiated and governmental cost control standards.

The analyst is also responsible for assisting in the formulation of budgets and timelines for all contractual obligations, as well as performing financial analyses including funding profiles, sales forecasts, and variance assessments.

To ensure sufficient funding, the analyst maintains precise records of expenditures, oversees the preparation of expenditure forecasts, and submits timely requests for additional funding as required.

Incorporating contractual modifications into control systems is essential, as the analyst must remain informed about ongoing work against each contract to uphold realistic cost and schedule baselines.

The role includes providing support for budget development, Estimate at Completion (EAC) tracking, and assisting team and program management in proposal development.

Desired Qualifications:
Familiarity with the Deltek tool suite for cost account management is preferred.
Experience with Earned Value Management and Cost Account Management is essential.
A Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or engineering is required.
Candidates with experience in Cost Account Management (CAM) or Control Account Management (CAM) are highly regarded.

Essential Skills:
Proficiency in project scheduling and project cost management
Experience with Earned Value Management
Previous CAM experience
Advanced skills in Excel, particularly with Pivot Tables
Ability to develop Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant proposals

Preferred Skills:
Previous CAM experience is advantageous
Familiarity with Tableau
Experience with the Aeronautics Proposal Tool Suite (APTS)
